<dc:coverage>Given that the area of EMM is under researched in Slovakia, ALL general population surveys with a substantial sub-sample of EMMs were included. It should be noted however that for the Labour Force Survey (VZPS), not all of the waves since 2000 have been covered; this is because documentation for just 2018 and 2019 were available.</dc:coverage>

Sample design - full information: Using the list of refugees enrolled with UNHCR for cash assistance as a sampling frame, a stratified random sample of 500 households was selected and interviewed via telephone. The stratification criteria were twofold: household structure (single adults, adults with children, and multiple adults without children), and time of arrival to the host country. This methodology allowed for estimates with a margin of error of up to ±2.2 per cent, at a 95 per cent confidence interval for the combined sample.

Description: Post-stratification weights were calculated for phone-based surveys. Moreover, for the regional analysis of refugees, weights have been applied based on the most recent figures available of the number of individual refugees recorded in the country. In particular, simple intercellular weighting within each county was performed at each intersection of the time-of arrival and group composition quota segments. Longitudinal participants carried over their post-stratification weights from the previous wave, which were used as initial weights for the post-stratification in this wave (the fresh sample had a constant ‘1’ as the initial weight in this preliminary stage) (Technical report, p. 53-54).
