<dc:coverage>The Polish delegation of the COST Action did not document any general population surveys based on the inclusion parameters they set and used; however, select general population surveys have since been included, which have been documented and added to the Registry by other parties (i.e. not the Polish delegation). This is therefore why variable 11.7 for all records corresponding to surveys handled by the Polish delegation have been coded as “No general population surveys qualifying for the EMM Survey Registry were detected.”</dc:coverage>

Representative of the population: No
Sample design - full information: Two approaches have been taken: a non-probability quota sampling for refugees residing in host community; and purposive sampling for refugees in collective sites. Due to lack of complete data on location and profile of refugees residing in Poland, PESEL registration data (the national identification number used in Poland) was used as a proxy indicator for sampling for non-probability quota sampling for refugees residing in the host community. The sample included two distinct population groups: refugees living in host community, outside of the collective sites (CSs), and refugees residing in CSs. Refugees living outside of CSs cover a variety of accommodation types, including private accommodation, being hosted by family, friends, or by Polish families, among others.; however, it was purposely drawn to adjust for the geographical as well as gender distribution of the refugee population, as per TP data provided by the Ministry of Interior. Efforts were also made to select respondents from as many diverse types of accommodation as possible
