<dc:coverage>Only national surveys directed to EMM respondents with over 300 respondents are included.</dc:coverage>
<dc:coverage>A large number of general population surveys were included. The criteria for these was that there were at least 800 EMM respondents on the survey (i.e. first condition of relevance). Typically, this has meant including general population surveys with 8000 or more respondents when data was only available for country of birth or 4000 or more respondents when parents country of birth AND respondents country of birth was available. For some surveys not explicitly directed to EMMs but where EMM respondents were known to be overrepresented and the population was vulnerable or hard to reach (such as people living in shelters or victims of domestic violence), a lower sample size was permitted on a case basis.</dc:coverage>

Using email, the questionnaire was forwarded by the selected associations to their various constituent organisations, who were then asked to forward it to their members. In the end, 312 respondents participated in the survey.

<notes>3.3-3.4: The questionnaire is not publicly available and the available documentation only provides some insights about how the EMM target population was operationalized. 3.5: This figure is an estimation based on a bar graph provided in the technical report that depicts the overall size of the target population of the survey conducted in France. 3.6: The survey originally aimed to include respondents who are migrants from DOM-TOM. However, due to sampling issues, this sub-group (as well as others) was ultimately excluded. As indicated in the available documentation, the French survey was only able to properly survey the following sub-groups: migrants of Maghrebi background and migrants with Central African background.</notes>
