<dc:coverage>Only subnational surveys directed to EMM respondents with over 150 respondents are included</dc:coverage>
<dc:coverage>A large number of general population surveys were included. The criteria for these was that there were at least 800 EMM respondents on the survey. Typically, this meant including general population surveys with 8000 or more respondents when data was only available for country of birth or 4000 or more respondents when parents’ country of birth AND respondent’s country of birth was available. For some surveys not explicitly directed to EMMs but where EMM respondents were known to be overrepresented and the population was vulnerable or hard to reach (such as people living in shelters or victims of domestic violence), a lower sample size was permitted on a case basis</dc:coverage>

Prior to Project Greenback 2.0, there was Project Greenback which started in spring 2011 and concluded in 2012. Project Greenback engaged with two migrant communities: the Hondurans in Washington, DC (USA) and the Moroccans in Turin (Italy). Project Greenback offered financial education workshops and organized awareness raising initiatives in these 2 selected cities. It also produced a video documentary documenting the behavioral changes among remittance senders and recipients, as well as monitoring the changes in the market through constant dialogue with experts, local authorities, and market players. 2.5: To date, quantitative surveys have only been conducted in Montreuil (France), Turin (Italy), and London (UK). In Berat (Albania), which was selected to participate in Project Greenback 2.0 in 21 March 2018, the data producers are currently assessing the feasibility of conducting a survey. 2.9-2.10: The survey is single cross-sectional in design, but has been conducted in different cities (in different countries) at different time periods. Italy was the first country in which the survey was conducted; their survey was conducted in 2013

(1.14) This survey is part of a larger project aimed at increasing market efficiency of remittances. As part of this initiative, the project also ran educational workshops for migrants. <notes>(3.4) Because the questionnaire is unavailable, most of 3.4 has been coded as Don't know. However, the documentation describes selecting migrants based on their place of birth and explains that there is a question pertaining to this in the questionnaire. As a result, 3.4.1 is coded as Yes. (3.5) According to the survey documentation which cites the 2010 census information, there are 4652 Algerian-born individuals in Montreuil and 7937 individuals born in Africa (excluding Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia). Thus, 12589 slightly overestimates the size of the EMM target population as it includes individuals in some origin-countries not targeted. However, Mali and Côte d’Ivoire represent two of the most significant sources of West African migrants in Montreuil</notes>
