<dc:coverage>here are very few alternative sources of survey data on EMMs’ integration in Cyprus, so general population surveys with an EMM subsample of less than 400 were considered. However, due to challenges in obtaining information about general population surveys, particularly in terms of assessing whether or not EMMs participated, only select surveys have been covered.</dc:coverage>

Sample design - full information: A multi-stage area sampling approach was used. Respondents were drawn from the Census 2011 (of Cyprus) with settlements as primary sampling units (PSU). PSUs are essentially a cluster of interviews that are conducted from the same starting point. In each given PSU a certain number of interviews need to be conducted with eligible respondents. The number of interviews per PSU is allocated in advance. That starting address served as the starting point of a cluster. Considering that data were available at settlement or municipality level only, it was necessary to demarcate smaller areas to be used as PSUs, usually using maps, and then to estimate the target group concentrations within the smaller areas. The sample was stratified and selected based on city district level ´ΕΝΟΡΙΑΣ´ (larger cities) or municipality/community ´ΔΗΜΟΥ/ ΚΟΙΝΟΤΗΤΑΣ´ (PSUs, larger settlements divided). In addition, location sampling or centre based sampling was used
