Description: Design weights, non-response weights, and post-stratification weights were applied to the dataset. Design weights: selection probabilities at each stage (Primary Sampling Unit selection; Address selection; Household selection; Respondent selection) were calculated and multiplied to provide the overall probability of inclusion for each case in the sample. The design weights constituted the inverse of this probability. Non-response weights: The household-level achieved sample was weighted according to neighbourhood characteristics (as per recorded on the interview contact sheet) of the overall issued and confirmed eligible sample. Individual non-response weights were then calculated by means of weighting the individual-level data according to the respondent characteristics of all selected individuals. Post-stratification weights: The individual-level data was weighted to the population profile of the Sub-Saharan African group in Ireland. Cell weighting was used in this calculation. The specific weights that were applied were gross population weights (estimates of the target population size were sourced from the sampling frame). Finally, the weights were trimmed at several stages in an iterative manner

      </dataColl>
      <notes subject="sample size">5.1: The gross sample is the sum of a) the households where eligibility was unknown (i.e. 826) + b) the eligible households (i.e. 425). The targeted sample size was 400 individuals. You can find detailed information about the the fieldwork outcomes at household level for the address-based samples in p.77 of the technical report. 5.2: The total number of households interviewed is 298. 5.4: AAPOR RR3</notes>
      <notes subject="data collection">7.1: Fieldwork was contracted out to Ipsos MRBI and Red C. 7.9: The questionnaire consisted of ten sections. All respondents were asked the first eight sections. However, some questions within these sections were relevant only for specific respondent groups or where location sampling was applied. Filters were applied to a large proportion of the questions. The figure listed in 7.9. is the approximate number of all question items included in the EU-MIDIS II core questionnaire.</notes>
