Survey include subgroup of majority pop: No
Survey designed as a general population survey: No
Sampling strategy - closed: Random sampling/selection (i.e. probability sampling, of some kind)
Sampling strategy - open: A stratified random sampling strategy was applied. Five strata were defined according to age (18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-64, and 65+). The sample size was calculated for each age category considering a margin of error of 5%, a confidence level of 95%, and a response distribution of 50%. Moreover, oversampling was applied to the three age categories in the middle (25-34, 35-44, and 45-64) for two reasons, the first being their higher number of persons, the second being a more diverse variety of migratory strategies, compared to the other two age categories. Since the distribution of duration of residence and gender varies between the five strata, the representation of these variables was assured by a disproportionate stratification: men and women as well as less than 1 year, 1-2 years, 2-5 years, 5 or more years of residence

Representative of the population: Yes
Sample design - full information: Registered-based sampling was used to obtain a stratified random sample. This ensured that there would be no (or minimal) coverage problems and that the above-mentioned inclusion criteria for the target population could be observed. Also, register-based sampling allowed the calculation of post-stratification weights to adjust for potential non-response errors
